Profile
Heike Freund advises her German and international clients on all aspects of trademark law, unfair competition law and design law. She represents her clients in adversary proceedings relating to intellectual property rights and unfair competition law before national courts as well as in proceedings before trademark offices such as the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
Her advisory practice focuses on review of advertising measures, strategic trademark advice and design and negotiation of contracts, especially with respect to intellectual property rights such as license agreements and coexistence agreements. Her expertise includes protection of trade secrets, food law and drug advertising law.
Heike Freund has more than ten years of experience as a lawyer in international law firms. She strengthened her focus on France and expanded her network in France through a secondment for several months with an international law firm in Paris (2017).
