Profile

Since having qualified as an attorney, Stefan Michel has worked almost without exception in the area of “Intellectual Property (IP) law”, which includes IP-rights, such as patents, trademarks and designs, although also copyright and competition law in the broader sense. He has particularly close connections to trade, especially the furniture sector. He has advised and represented purchasing societies and their affiliated companies for 30 years in all issues of advertising and sales promotion and thus particularly in competition, trademark, antitrust and distribution matters.

Thanks to numerous official and court proceedings, he has great forensic experience in litigation throughout Germany. The design of licensing contracts as well as co-existence and delimitation agreements are likewise also focal points of his activity.
